Daily Anti-Acne Routine (Morning and Evening)
A complete routine to gently cleanse pores, control secretion, calm redness, and treat pimples and scars—with daily sun protection.
Morning routine

Salicylic Acid 2% Morning Wash (SA)
Usage: On wet skin for 30-40 seconds, then rinse lukewarm.
Benefit: Unclogs pores and reduces blackheads without over-drying.
Add lotion to cart -
Gentle AHA/BHA toner (optional for tolerant skin)
Usage: Apply with a cotton pad to the face, avoiding the eye area, 3–4 times/week.
Note: On sensitive days, just moisturize directly.
Add toner -
Niacinamide 10% + Zinc Serum
Usage: 2–3 drops then wait 60 seconds before moisturizer.
Benefit: Balances sebum, reduces pimples and shine.
Add niacinamide serum -
Light, non-comedogenic gel moisturizer
Use: Apply a thin layer to reduce irritation and seal in moisture.
Benefit: Moisturizes without clogging pores.
Add moisturizer -
Light SPF50+ sunscreen
Quantity: Two finger-length lines for face and neck.
Reapplication: Every 2–3 hours in the sun.
Add sunscreen
Evening routine

Oil cleansing (optional for sunscreen/makeup days)
Steps: 60 seconds massage on dry skin → emulsify with water → rinse.
Add removal step -
Benzoyl peroxide (BPO) 4–10% wash
Directions for use: Massage for 60 seconds, then rinse. Start with 4% if your skin is sensitive.
Rate: 3–5 times/week as tolerated.
Add BPO wash -
BHA (Salicylic) Targeted Pore Treatment
Use: Use on nights when BPO/other acids are not present in abundance.
Benefit: Dissolves oils inside pores and reduces blackheads.

Targeted treatment alternatives (BPO/BHA-free nights)
Option 1 – Azelaic Acid 10%: Apply a thin layer to areas prone to pimples and scars.
Option 2 – Retinol (for tolerants only): Twice/week with gradual increase.
Warning: Do not combine retinol with strong exfoliants at the same time.
Add a gentle treatment -
Non-greasy soothing gel moisturizer
Usage: As the last step to lock in moisture and reduce irritation.

- Use BPO or BHA alternately to reduce dryness (not together every night).
- Any new activity should be introduced gradually 2–3 times/week and then increased as tolerated.
- Sunscreen in the morning is a must to prevent post-acne effects.
- No squeezing—use benzoyl peroxide/azelaic acid-based topical treatments.
