• Use it on clean, dry skin after cleanser.
• The Beauty Time team recommends starting with two to three times weekly if your skin is not used to exfoliating acids, then gradually increasing frequency according to tolerance.
• Swipe the cotton pad over the skin gently without repeated rubbing; Glycolic Acid exfoliates chemically and does not require strong friction.
• Follow with a gentle serum and moisturizer to help support the skin barrier and reduce the possibility of dryness.
• Avoid combining it in the same routine with other AHA or BHA exfoliants, retinol, or strong exfoliating products if your skin is easily irritated.
• If you feel strong stinging, persistent redness, or visible peeling, reduce the frequency of use or stop temporarily until the skin calms down.
• For pigmentation care, make broad-spectrum sunscreen an essential step every morning, as UV exposure may worsen the appearance of spots.
• When using it in the evening, it can be followed with a hydrating serum or soothing serum, then a cream that supports the skin barrier to maintain comfort.
• Do not use it directly after shaving, hair removal, or physical exfoliation if the skin is irritated; wait until it regains comfort.
